4. Precautions when using ball valves:
(1) Ball valves are commonly used in pipelines for media such as water and gasoline, as well as for slurries and viscous liquids, due to their fast opening and closing and low resistance characteristics. Ball valves can also perform well in pipelines with high and low pressure drops.
(2) It should be noted that throttling may cause damage to seals or spheres, so it is generally not recommended to use ball valves for throttling operations. In addition, full channel ball valves are not suitable for flow regulation.
5. Common faults and solutions:
(1) The problem of oil cup leakage may be caused by the loose thread of the oil cup or damage to the oil cup mouth. For these two situations, measures such as tightening the oil cup, replacing the oil cup, and adding grease can be taken separately for repair.
(2) If the handwheel is too tight, it may be due to the valve screw being stuck, the pressure difference between the front and rear of the valve being too large, or a faulty transmission worm gear. At this point, you can try turning the valve screw, reducing the pressure difference before and after the valve, or checking the transmission worm gear to solve the problem.
(3) Regarding the issue of internal leakage, it is usually necessary to replace the sealing valve seat or repair the ball to solve it. This may require professional knowledge and skills, it is recommended to seek help from professionals.
